  • Swiss Biotech Day 2026

Meet us at the Swiss Biotech Day in Basel, Switzerland from 4 to 5 May 2026.

  • Due diligence and successful fund-raising to enable company growth

DIAMANTE identified an interesting company and conducted a preliminary due diligence on their assets and organizational structure.

Thereafter DIAMANTE supported a fund-raising process and brought along a large growth accelerator fund. The project completed with an acquisition of the company by the fund, which provided more financial means, an improved structural set up for growth and the needed support for taking the company into the international markets.

  • Due Diligence and acquisition deal for private equity fund

A large private equity investment fund identified a significant opportunity. The deal lead reached out to DIAMANTE for support and engaged us for leading its commercial and technical Due Diligence process. The project unfolded in 3 months, and DIAMANTE successfully contributed and helped closing an acquisition deal sized in the low digit billion range.

  • Cancer diagnostics biomarker development

A Swiss-based diagnostics company, spun off from a university, engaged with DIAMANTE following the completion of their Discovery program in cancer diagnostics, which yielded a set of promising biomarker candidates.

DIAMANTE provided fractional management support to guide the company through the critical next phases of development. This began with an independent assessment of the company’s assets and strategic prioritization of the most promising biomarker candidates based on their clinical and commercial potential.

Specifically, DIAMANTE contributed to the planning of validation studies to advance prioritized biomarkers toward clinical utility, while providing strategic input into the company’s fundraising efforts. This included guidance on identifying and engaging potential new investors, preparing comprehensive due diligence materials, and shaping investor pitch decks and a structured data room to facilitate an efficient and professional fundraising process.

  • Due Diligence assessment of an automated cell mass production platform

A leading US investor required a rigorous, independent assessment of a Taiwanese innovator developing a next-generation automated cell mass production system. The goal was to validate the platform’s readiness for the US and European markets before committing to a high-stakes investment and distribution deal.

DIAMANTE conducted an independent due diligence assessment of an automated cell mass production platform, commissioned to support informed decisionmaking related to a potential commercial transaction. The engagement included a comprehensive review of the platform’s technological, operational, and scientific foundations, along with a threeday site visit to multiple facilities. During this visit, DIAMANTE evaluated live demonstrations of the system and analyzed documentation related to design inputs and outputs, process validation, automation capabilities, usability, cybersecurity, scalability, and environmental impact. The first phase of the work focused on verifying the scientific and technological robustness of cell manufacturing technology, to be completed in a sixweek period.

The second phase of the due diligence centered on regulatory evaluation, particularly a detailed gap analysis between regulatory requirements in Taiwan and those of the USA and Europe. DIAMANTE assessed compliance with documentation, quality systems, and potential regulatory risks associated with international deployment of the platform. Preliminary findings identified both strengths and areas requiring further development to meet global standards. The full due diligence was structured to be completed within ten weeks from the start of the engagement, with all conclusions based on information available at the time and subject to further refinement as additional data becomes accessible.

  • Oncology drug development plan Series A

The CEO of an EU-based, pre-clinical-stage biotech company asked DIAMANTE to work with the team to develop the preclinical and clinical development plan for an oncology drug candidate. At the time of engagement, the program had a clinical candidate, and the CEO was seeking expert development input to develop a Series A plan including TPP, plan for IND-enabling studies, First-in-human clinical study and clinical POC study up to the targeted approval indications.

DIAMANTE challenged and solidified the existing plans and, in cooperation with the team, prepared a detailed timeline and budget plan for Series A.

This enabled the client to have a solidly prepared plan, cross-validated by drug development experts to support their fundraising activities for Series A and allow for immediate and cost/time efficient target directed execution of plans.

  • CNS drug development at Seed stage

The investor of a European early-stage biotech company developing a first-in-class oral therapy for Alzheimer’s disease engaged DIAMANTE to support the validation and execution of the discovery and preclinical development strategy in preparation for Series A financing.

DIAMANTE worked closely with the virtual project team to establish and continuously refine an integrated discovery plan. This plan covered in silico modelling, medicinal chemistry, and in vitro and in vivo pharmacology, with the goal of identifying a lead compound. Together with the team, DIAMANTE identified, selected, and managed a network of specialized CRO partners and external experts.

Further, based on the optimized scientific narrative, target product profile, and biomarker strategy, DIAMANTE designed the first-in-human development path. This included detailed timelines and resource estimates for all required IND-enabling studies.

This comprehensive support enabled the client’s Series A fundraising efforts and formed the core of an NIH grant application.

  • Oncology Clinical candidate selection and Series A

A Swiss-based biotech founded out of a university engaged with DIAMANTE via their seed investor. DIAMANTE provided fractional management support to the company to lead their small molecule oncology program from lead identification/optimization to successful clinical candidate selection.

Specifically, this involved leadership of a virtual drug development team consisting of university personnel, CROs, and consultants. To guide the drug discovery efforts a screening funnel and TPP were established to allow a targeted selection of best compounds with all critical development properties (i.e. potency, efficacy, selectivity, ADME / physical & chemical properties, PK, tox profile, chemistry, and IP).

In parallel, DIAMANTE coordinated the preparation of the preclinical and clinical development plan for Series A engaging with CROs, Clinical experts and providing drug development expertise.

  • Biofoundry 2.0 launch Jan 2026

DIAMANTE is launching Biofoundry 2.0 as new vertical in response to the growing need for scalable manufacturing processes and systems to produce cell, gene, and stem‑cell therapies.
